Cleopatra's Page
We felt Cleopatra was that special she deserved her own page.
She was sitting on some game hen eggs and hatched out 3 while still laying eggs. I thought this was normal but I was informed it was not. However, after this set of eggs she started setting on another set and this time she stopped laying eggs.
She also sits up high in the open in a dog pen in her nest. Which I was told most hens would like a larger one but Cleo loves hers.
She sits on the eggs all day and when we go to feed she comes out and goes outside to roll in the clay and eat some grass.
She doesn't nip at us even when I went to get a photo of her duckling.
